Nails by Primark

Hiya chums :D

I purchased this nail polish from PRIMARK. I absolutely love Primark, as it sells very trendy and fashionable products for cheap and affordable prices.

I bought; this set of 4 nail polishes came at £2 (1 polish for 50p). There were more sets of different shades of colours to choose from but I just thought that I would just try it out first, and believe you me there's gonna be a lot more Primark reciepts in my pocket.

I have mentioned in a couple of posts that I love wearing bright colours on my nails, and that what definately drew me in.

THE DARKER ONE (2 coats)

This purple has mix of hot pink and bit of silver undertones in it. Although purple is usually meant to be dark, or almost berry-like the silver and pink raises it up from under. I don't particularly like this shade of purple, but what do you chums think?

THE PINK-ISH ONE (3 coats)

When I first saw this colour I actually thought it was a shade of red, but how wrong was I it's more like a hot pink than a red. What it doesn't really show in the photos though is the shimmer finish this colour radiates. I usually don't like shimmer on nail polishes, but it definately compliments the pink very well. What do y'all think of this colour? : D

THE ORANGE ONE (3 coats)
This one is the BRIGHTEST of all and is probably perfect for a Spring or Autumn wedding. It also works well if you are wearing a really a dark outfit. Even though they both dark and bright colours usually contrast it is good to take risks now and again, especially in this industry you don't know what gonna come around the corner. This colour is very similar to Tropicana by GOSH which I absolutely love and a review should be up soon. What do you think of this colour?? :)

Overall, they are slightly better than I expected in terms of consistency, because I expected it to very watery and have no thickness to it at all but it was quite thick. Even though it was better than expected with the consistency, I don't like the fact that some of the polishes are less consistant that others, as it was either 2 or 3 coats. These colours are really pretty and could be worn not only during summer but all year round to brighten up every aspects of the day. I like it and I definately gonna buy another set as it is only £2. I'd give it 3/5.

Angelica: Iced Sorbet - Soft Satin Matte Effect

Hiya Chums

Yay, I'm back! (no one even knew I went anywhere :(
I'm so happy to post again, I haven't because of coursework and all that jazz, but back yayy!!!

Angelina, is a fairly new brand which was founded in 2011 and now distributes to all Primark stores throughout the UK. I purchased this in one of my favourite shops - Primark. I bought two items from this brand (the soft satin matte effect - iced sorbet and nail strengthener) but i'll review the strengthener some time in the near future, when I take my acrylics off. :D

This particular nail polish cost £2.50, which is definitely a competitor with Barry M. What I like about this product, is that it's easy to apply, it's very thick so you don't have to add a lot of coats and it would look as if it was finished, but you can obviously add as many as you want. I forgot to add top coat, because it completely lost my mind that I had any :D

The brush is quite thin, but the thickness of the content compensates for that.

Overall I absolutely LOVE this colour and I am definitely gonna try many more colours from this amazing brand. Check out their website at: www.angelica-nails.myshopify.com

If you've tried this brand or want to, let me know! :D

Skin and Coat

Hiya Chums,

This was my first nail lacquer purchase from MAC and it will certainly not be my last. Skin is a mixture between beige and peach, with brown undertones. I love this colour, the smooth application and the way it looks on my completion.

As I applied the first, second and third coat it was looking quite thin in texture, so I added two more coats and then it came out really well. Other than the fact that it to 5-6 coats to look decent I still really like it. Visit MAC stores and online at www.maccosmetics.co.uk

I also added an over lacquer to give it that glossy finish.

Minty Mint Green

Hiya Chums,

Barry M is one of my favourite nail polish brands. It is cheap and affordable, which only cost me £2.99. I ABSOLUTELY love love love this nail polish. I love the colour mint green, how it applies very easily on my nails. If your a fan of bright and sort of pastel colours this is just for you!!! It is very accessible so you can get get it from your local Superdrug, Boots or at barrym.com .

The only down side which I have found with the BarryM nail polishes I have used is that, it chipped and peeled of fairly quickly, but other than that it was AMAZING!!!

Do you have this one, if so comment down below on what do you like and dislike about it???

Raspberry | Barry M

Hiya Chums!

Hope you guys are good. This week has been VERY hectic with schoolwork and ideas for my blog but so exciting also :) I can't wait to share with you the ideas I have for this blog and things that will happen. So watch this space :D

So now to the review! :)

Raspberry

This nail polish is from one of my favourite nail polish brands, Barry M. It is cheap and affordable, which only cost me £2.99. What I like about it is that it's easy to apply, it's very thick so you don't have to add a lot of coats and it would look as if it was finished. You also don't have to add a clear top coat, because it already gives it that glossy look. It is very accessible so you can get get it from your local Superdrug, Boots or at barrym.com

A thing that took me by surprise was the fact that it chipped and peeled of fairly quickly. I don't know whether it is just me but hours after I applied it started chipping away but then I added more, it obviously made a diffence but who want to be adding nail polish every 10 hours? At first I didn't really like the colour on me, it was too dull because I usually go for brighter and more pastel-ly colours, but it's now grown on me and I now love it!!!!!

Do you have this one, if so comment down below on what do you like and dislike about it???

As this is my first EVER review feel free to give any constructive criticism and suggestions on how to make my blog the best it could be.
